Hi! I’m Ashley, a lifelong animal lover with over 11 years of professional animal welfare and rescue experience. Cats are a huge part of my life, but I also have experience caring for dogs and understand how to read their body language, recognize stress, and earn their trust. My background includes animal sheltering and adoption, fostering, TNR, socializing shy and fearful animals, caring for kittens and puppies, and working with pets with medical and special needs. I’m also the founder of a nonprofit cat rescue and TNR organization, so I’ve cared for just about every feline personality, from confident attention-seekers to spicy kitties who prefer their space.
I’m experienced with feline and canine body language, medication routines, enrichment, and keeping pets as close to their normal routine as possible. I always move at their pace and never force interaction. During visits, I’ll provide fresh food and water, litter box care or potty breaks, and plenty of attention based on your pet’s comfort level. That may include playtime, walks, pets, brushing, treats, or simply sitting quietly with a shy pet. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate, and I pay attention to the little things. You can also expect plenty of updates and photos while you’re away!
